This website is operated by Rumor, a fashion brand based in Karachi, Pakistan. References to “Rumor,” “we,” “us,” and “our” throughout this website and these terms refer to Rumor and its representatives.

What can I use this website for?

This website is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may browse the website, read its content, and place reservations for Rumor products. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written permission.

Are you responsible for the accuracy of information on this website?

We make every effort to ensure the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, or availability information is error-free. If you notice an inaccuracy, please contact us at hello@rumoratelier.com. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel an order placed at an incorrect price and will notify you promptly if this occurs.

What law governs these terms?

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from your use of this website or your purchase of Rumor products will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Purchase Terms

When you reserve

The following terms apply to all reservations placed through the Rumor website. By completing your reservation you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

A reservation constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Rumor. Production of your piece begins upon receipt of full payment. All sales are final subject to the exchange policy set out on our Shipping and Returns page.

When is my order confirmed?

Your order is confirmed when you receive a written confirmation email from Rumor at the email address provided during checkout. Rumor reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at its discretion — for example in the event of a pricing error or stock issue — and will notify you promptly and issue a full refund if this occurs.

What is your refund policy?

Because all Rumor pieces are made to order, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Refunds are issued only in circumstances where Rumor is unable to fulfil your order — for example if we are unable to source the required materials or if your piece is lost in transit and a replacement cannot be produced within a reasonable timeframe. In these circumstances a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

What currency will I be charged in?

Orders are invoiced in the local currency of your market — PKR for Pakistan, USD for the United States, GBP for the United Kingdom, CAD for Canada, and AED for the UAE. The exchange rate applied is determined by your payment provider at the time of transaction. Rumor is not responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card provider.

What if a piece becomes unavailable after I have reserved it?

In the unlikely event that a piece becomes unavailable after your reservation has been confirmed — due to material unavailability or circumstances beyond our control — we will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your options. You will be offered either a full refund or, where possible, an alternative arrangement.

Your information is yours

Rumor collects only the information we need to process your order and provide you with a good experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your information with anyone who does not need it to fulfill your order.

We retain your order information for as long as is necessary to fulfill your order and comply with our legal obligations — typically seven years for financial records. Email marketing preferences are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@rumoratelier.com.

What are my rights regarding my personal data?

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, to object to our use of your data for marketing purposes, and to withdraw consent at any time. Do you use cookies?

Yes. Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our website. Essential cookies are required for the website to function. Non-essential cookies — including analytics and marketing cookies — are only placed with your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings or our cookie consent tool.

Will you send me marketing emails?

We will only send you marketing emails — collection updates, new arrivals, editorial content — if you have explicitly opted in to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect your order confirmations or shipping notifications.

Is my payment information secure?

All payment transactions are processed through an encrypted, PCI-compliant payment gateway. Rumor does not store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. Your payment information is transmitted directly to our payment processor and is never held on Rumor servers.

How do I contact you about a privacy concern?

For any privacy-related question or concern, please contact us at hello@rumoratelier.com. We will respond within 12 hours and within 30 days for formal data subject requests.

Intellectual Property

Our work is our own

All content on the Rumor website — including but not limited to photography, design, text, garment designs, the Rumor wordmark, and the Rumor brand name — is the intellectual property of Rumor and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Nothing on this website grants you any right to use Rumor's intellectual property without our express written permission.

Can I share Rumor content on social media?

You are welcome to share Rumor content from our official Instagram account (@rumorcollection) by reposting or sharing through Instagram's native sharing features, provided that Rumor is credited. Downloading, screenshotting, or reproducing Rumor campaign photography for any purpose other than personal sharing is not permitted without our written permission.

Can I use Rumor photography for editorial or press purposes?

Press and editorial requests are welcome. Please contact hello@rumoratelier.com with details of your publication and the intended use of our imagery. We will respond within 12 hours.

What if I believe my intellectual property has been infringed by Rumor?

If you believe any content on the Rumor website infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at hello@rumoratelier.com with full details of the alleged infringement. We take intellectual property seriously and will investigate all claims promptly.

Are Rumor's garment designs protected?

Yes. All Rumor garment designs, including silhouettes, embellishment patterns, and construction details, are the original creative work of Rumor's design team. Reproduction of Rumor designs for commercial purposes constitutes infringement of our intellectual property rights and will be treated accordingly.
